Junior Infants - Threading Beads

Junior Infants were busy sorting wooden beads from plastic beads, large beads from small beads, beads that roll from beads that don't roll and colour beads. It was great fun.
Well done to Senior Infants who started their very first Maths Facts Book. They worked together with First and Second Class on 2D Shapes. We discussed long sides, short sides, corners and curved / straight sides. We liked using words like horizontal, vertical and parallel.
In the afternoon Second Class found a mistake in the Maths textbook!
