In November we remember...

We made a class booklet for November. We remember all those in heaven and put all the names of our loved ones in our book. We used a picture of a candle, a person giving someone a hug, a rainbow and a starry night sky to make up the book.

Whole School Inspection Report

Open publication - Free publishing - More inspector
Our Whole School Evaluation (WSE) Report has been published on The Department of Education and Skills (DES) website. The report can be sourced under the new 'Find a School' search facility or directly through the Leckaun National School's Page on this site.
The report is very positive and affirms the strengths of our school. It also affirms the work being carried out in the school and beyond. The advice and recommendations given during the week of inspection and in the report were fair and helpful for all involved. All aspects of the school were examined. The three core subjects; English, Gaeilge and Mathematics were examined. The additional subject area examined was Geography.
The inspection took place during the week beginning April 16th 2012 with Senior Divisional Inspector, Marina Ní Threasaigh.
