PROCLAMATION DAY

Proclamation Day took place in Leckaun N.S. on Tuesday March 15th at noon! The pupils read the original Proclamation and also proclaimed their own 2016 version. The school band performed  Ryans' Jig, Inis Thiar, Amhrán na bhFiann agus An bhfaca tú mo Shéamaisín/Maggie in the Woods. The flag was raised by Elizabeth Comiskey {cousin of Seán Mac Diarmada} and Father Anthony Fagan, Chairman B.O.M.
